Di Resta and Hanley will lead the United Autosports teams in IMSA

Paul di Resta and Ben Hanley will once again lead the line-up of “United Autosports” in the IMSA championship next year, confirming their participation for the second consecutive season with the Anglo-American team.

The gold-rated Hanley became the first driver announced to be behind the wheel of the “Oreca 07 Gibson” #2, which he shared this year with Ben Keating, while Dan Goldburg will again partner di Resta in the #22 car.

Previously, Goldburg was confirmed as the first member of the “United” line-up for the 2025 IMSA championship season. It is unlikely that Keating will be Hanley’s second driver, who holds a bronze rating for the entire season, as it is rumored that the Texan will move to the FIA WEC endurance racing championship with the “Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R” from “TF Sport.”

“It’s fantastic to be back for another season with the team,” said Hanley. “We showed great pace almost everywhere… We were unlucky in some races, but the victory at Road America proved what we are capable of. Given everything we’ve learned this year, we’ll be aiming for more wins and ultimately fighting for the championship.”

Meanwhile, factory driver for “Peugeot” di Resta will participate in all LMP2 rounds, except for the event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, as it coincides with the WEC race in Interlagos.

“I’m really excited to race alongside Dan next year,” said di Resta. “I think it was a huge challenge for Dan to step up to race against guys who have been in LMP2 for a long time… and he held his head high. For the second year in a row, we won’t have to hide behind sliding doors, but considering Dan’s progress, how the team has integrated in the USA, and the announcements of several new drivers, the foundation looks very solid. We will definitely be in serious contention when we line up for this championship in Daytona… and until the last lap in Atlanta.”

Team principal Richard Dean added: “Paul and Ben are two incredibly talented drivers, and we’re very fortunate to work with them year after year. With the 2025 season around the corner, and a full IMSA season behind us, the desire to win… and to win consistently… is even stronger, and when you’re aiming for that level of success, Ben and Paul are two formidable forces to have on your side.”
